The 2021 budget address revealed some of the ways St Kitts and Nevis’ Citizenship by Investment Programme has supported the islands over the last year. Prime Minister Timothy Harris said the Programme had been a ‘major contributor’ to the nation’s economy including supporting national development projects.
Revenue generated under St Kitts and Nevis’ Citizenship by Investment Programme is channelled into important sectors of society. Notably, the Programme has helped commission a new healthcare facility and is currently contributing to the construction of another health centre. Introduced in 1984, St Kitts and Nevis has been operating the world’s longest CBI Programme for nearly four decades.
