St Kitts and Nevis gears up for Sugar Mas 52 Festival!

The Sugar Mas 52 Festival will commence from 25 November 2023. Festival goers of all ages can enjoy beauty pageants, parades, fetes, J’ouvert (the unofficial start of the carnival), folklore, Soca music and pan and calypso drums competitions. 


St Kitts and Nevis Carnival Committee are excited to announce the event line up for the 2023 end year festive season. It aims to be the best carnival for attendees to experience – say hello to Sugar Mas 52 Festival!

The 25th Anniversary of the St Kitts Music Festival kicked-off  on Thursday 22 June 2023 at the Warner Park Stadium, Basseterre. The incredible Sugar Mas Soca Review included competitions between previous and current Soca Monarch winners as well as road march champions.

The Sugar Mas Soca Review featured the following artists and bands:

Cream of the crop

St Kitts and Nevis Minister of Tourism, Honourable Marsha Henderson, recognised the astounding talents of the artists that encapsulated the imagination of festive goers. She exclaimed that

“We are happy to present the crème de la crème of the last Sugar Mas festival in what will be a captivating segment showcasing the exceptional talents of our homegrown artistes and bands.”

Honourable Henderson added that “This showcase will not only highlight their remarkable performances but will also serve as a testament to the incredible talent we have on our island, forever ready to dazzle the world.”

Additional artists that performed at the St Kitts Music Festival had artists such as Air Supply, Burna Boy, Byron Messia, Chronixx and Skillbeng.
